Dear Ambrose: Is it OK to use Rite I service music at a Rite II service? #Ilovewillan
The short answer is “yes.” You probably already do this without noticing if you are using Rite II and saying the traditional language version of the Lord’s Prayer. You also probably use some hymns that use traditional language, i.e. Praise, my soul, the King of heaven, Crown him with many crowns, O for a thousand tongues to sing, O come, all ye faithful. There is no reason that you can’t use Healey Willian’s service music at your Rite II service. You’re welcome!
